Our Founder

HBX06005_Edit.jpg

For Kylie Pearce, it started with a piece of paper and a 5 year dream.

“I had a mind map of ideas and environments that would appeal to the senses of mini humans coupled with my expectations as a parent”.

‘It became a purpose with a need to do things differently…’

What eventuated was Urban Education.

Kylie’s passion to do something different means wanting to support career development and education of her team. It means extending that difference to the way we support our Urban families and extended community in today’s ever changing and growing world. And ensuring continuity in educators for children in their most precious years of development.

Urban Education is a place for Early Education to ‘belong’ with a defining theme. A presence of varying cultures and people. A space where we have resources and autonomy to ‘be’ ourselves. And support our children to develop the skills in order to ‘become’ lifelong learners.

Kylie was committed to ensuring only the highest quality education and care services were made readily available to the babies and children of Urban Education.  Kylie’s unique leadership attracts only the ‘best of the best’ educators, with a purpose equal to her own, to care for each other and strive to be the best version of yourself.

“Educators can have one of the biggest impact on a child’s life … they should be considered and acknowledged as such”.

Kylie Pearce
Founder Urban Education

Kylie is an ‘Outstanding Service Leadership Award’ Recipient, ACT Education and Care Gala Awards.
